As given, my name is Arica Brown. I am currently a senior at Foshay Learning Center.Within Foshay, I am enrolled in the Tech Academy and have been for the past three years. Being apart of the Tech Academy has taught me very much about the subject of Computer Science and what makes this modern world's fastest form of communication possible.The Tech Academy has also instilled in me many qualities that I've greatly used in my daily life such as effective communication and networking.
A huge part of my life also comes from the campus of Foshay Learning Center; that is the Music Department. I have been apart of the Foshay Music Department for six years. Being a musician is an inseparable part of my being, and I invite you to explore this digital portfolio of mine to see evidence of this.
Currently, one of my goals at the moment would be to graduate with a 3.6 GPA or above. (Preferably a 4.0) Such a goal sprouts from my perfectionist mindset and deep desire to have recorded proof of my hard work. Blatantly, obtaining such a goal would be quite the achievement since my parents never gave me the example of it.
It is truly a lifestyle choice of mine to live one day at a time and not stress over the days that are not promised to me yet. So within the next 5-10 years, it is my goal to live a stable life. One that is covering my basic needs, but free from the anxiety of materialism. This could be considered a life-long goal as well.
Still creating and sharing my music with other is something I hope to be doing within the next 5-10 years, even beyond.
